To cocktails on a rooftop in Rotherhithe to a cheesy festival of fun in Camden to a rare opportunity to visit a sewing machine museum, we’ve got the lowdown on plenty of FREE reasons to get out and about in London this weekend. So whether the suns shining (or even if it isn’t) there’s no excuse not to get out and about in the city. But don’t just take our word for it, have a look for yourself!

Head for the launch party of Campfire Cocktails, which is back for it’s sixth year on the roof of the Brunel Museum. Sip on seasonal botanical cocktails and toast marshmallow whilst the sun sets.

Only open for one day a month, the sewing machine museum is opening it’s doors. There are 600 machines on show, including the machine which was given to Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter as a wedding present.

During the two-day festival, you can buy and talk to some of the capital’s top urban cheesemakers, taste dishes their fave foodies and hear talks on a variety of topics.
